Grunberg E Transformer Fatty

The Grunberg E Transformer Fatty is a robust folding electric bike, ideally suited to Irish conditions. Ecycles tested this model vigorously in both rural and urban settings and it performs incredibly well. The 20 inch tyres are ideally suited to rough rural roads, forestry tracks and urban concrete ways.

The Grunberg E Transformer Fatty has front fork suspension and oversized “FatBoy” tyres which make it perfect for urban city streets and off road rural tracks.

The Grunberg E Transformer Fatty is equipped with Tektro front and rear disk brakes system, and also a Shimano Tourney 7 speed gear system.

Grunberg E Transformer Fatty folds on the main part of the frame and at the base of the handlebars. Thus it can be easily and quickly folded to be place in the boot of a car when required.

The Grunberg E Transformer Fatty has a large 48V/10.4Ah SAMSUNG Lithium battery that is paired with a very powerful 48V 250W motor.  It comes with an LCD display unit that tells you your  battery power. It has five modes of power assist, starting on 1 at Eco mode and on until 5 at fill power mode.

The average distance per charge is about 40 – 60km depending on the terrain and power mode your on. According to EU law this ebike is limited to 25 kmph, charging time for the battery is 4 – 6 hours.
